Hotel Rooming
Before describing the rooming situation, let me assure you that you will spend precious little time in your hotel room. Because we get in late at night and hit the streets early in the morning so that we can experience as much as possible at each location, you will only be using your room to bathe, spruce up, and crash.
Students will stay in rooms with 3-4 other students of the same gender. They may have to stay in a room with other girls or boys (depending on your gender) who are on the tour with us. Boys and girls do not share rooms unless they are family and special arrangements are made. Group leader Gwen Leonhard makes sure that at least 2 students from her group are together in all rooming situations. A student may request twin accommodations so that he/she will share a room with just one other student, but that costs an additional $30 per night.
Adults will stay in rooms with 1 other adults of the same gender (unless otherwise requested -- as in husband and wife or any couple who may want to share a room and may request a double bed). Two single beds are provided.
An individual adult may request a single room so that he/she won't have to share space with anyone, but that costs an additional $40 per night.
